Biography

Maxime heads the “Transactions” department at Abello IP Firm. He assists organizations in drafting and negotiating their commercial contracts, particularly those where intellectual property plays a crucial role, such as research and development agreements, manufacturing agreements, distribution agreements, as well as licensing and assignment agreements for patents, trademarks, trade secrets, know-how and software. Clients value his ability to devise innovative strategies to monetize intellectual property and data while mitigating risks.

Drawing on his experience as an AI strategy consultant, where he worked closely with engineers on data science solutions, Maxime also supports clients in securing their AI use cases, balancing business, technical, and legal considerations.

Maxime teaches the course “IT, Contracts, and Data: Practical Insights” in the ‘Digital Law’ Master’s degree at the University of Paris Est-Créteil, and the course “EU and French data protection law” in the ‘Economic and Regulatory Law in Europe’ Master’s degree at Sciences Po Strasbourg.
