Mathilde JUNAGADE spent 19 years at the National Institute of Industrial Property, during which she held various positions within the Legal Department in the fields of litigation and consulting on trademarks and patents, and headed the International & European Law unit. She joined abello in December 2019.

Mathilde became Head of the Trademark department in November 2024.

Educational training

  • Graduate degree in Private and Business Law from University of Bordeaux (1998).
  • Master’s Degree (DESS) in Industrial Property Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (1999).
  • Registered on the list of “qualified persons in industrial property” (Trademarks
    & Designs) since 2003.
  • Mathilde JUNAGADE has taught Trademarks and Pharmaceutical Trademarks Law at the University of Saint-Denis Paris 8, as well as Employee Inventions Law within INPI Academy.
  • She regularly speaks at conferences in the field of trademarks (FNDE, APRAM) and patents (APEB, Max Planck Institute, European Commission panels).
